Role Title:                                        Sr. Business Development Executive (BDE)
Role Group:                                    Sales
Department:                                   Dexian IT Solutions
Compensation:                              120k base with commission
 
ROLE PURPOSE
DISYS is seeking an accomplished IT Sales Executive with 10+ years’ experience who challenges traditional thinking and creates momentum for change. Has a deep understanding of business processes and IT systems, experienced in managing large portfolios and delivering successful outcomes resulting in consistently satisfied customers. Selling experience and knowledge of diverse technologies from legacy technologies to Application Development, Cloud services, Process Automation, and Infrastructure Services. Recognized as a forward-thinker and transformative decision maker, has demonstrated the ability influence geographically distributed and culturally diverse teams.
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES
Project/Program Focus Deliverables
  • 10+ years’ experience as a Business Development/Account Executive with at least 5 years in selling IT Services and Solutions.
  • Ability to drive sales; ability to prospect new accounts and create a strong value proposition for the client
  • Strong communicator of oral and written work; also good presentation skills
  • Strong influencer through being proactive, creative and persuasive of others in solving client problems or recommending new ideas/strategies
  • Understands the importance of documentation and the utilization of tracking tools
  • Good knowledge of assigned vertical/industries with an ability to learn quickly
  • Strong relationship building skills – ability to become customer’s trusted individual
  • Superior interpersonal skills-work collaboratively within a matrix organization
  • Plan and adopt to changes both internal and external 
  • Favorable results on assessments –Sales Skills Index™ and Rembrandt Portrait®
  • Education to include BS or equivalent combination of education and experience

Capability: 
  • Wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department.
  • Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
  • Performs a variety of tasks, lead and direct the work of others.
  • Stay abreast of how technology infrastructures are currently impacting and driving competitors.
  • Experience with global delivery using offshore/onsite model.
  • Technology Solution integration and validation.
  • Achievement of all KPI’s –both leading and current
  • New revenue generation of at least $2m in first 12 months and $3m in in the second year – selling Managed Services only .
  • New customer acquisition
  • Pipeline creation
  • Meet a minimum of five meetings per week and have multiple active opportunities within three months
  • Assist, as needed, with coaching and development of Junior Business Development Executives
  • Participate in training as assigned/requested
  • Use tools consistently and effectively, according to DISYS processes
  • Keep the CRM tool updated current with all activities, contacts and opportunities
  • Communicate effectively and positively

Key Responsibilities
  • Achieve annual KPI targets,
  • Build and maintain key relationships with clients; become trusted advisor            
  • Lead and implement the go-to-market strategy plan for assigned accounts
  • Create and update Account Plans regularly
  • Manage assigned clients within assigned vertical by using tools to the fullest extent
  • Collaborate effectively with Business Units, Offshore Delivery and Practices
  • Leverage Offshore capabilities aggressively
  • Adhere to all DISYS policies and business processes; measure effectiveness of processes by using all designated DISYS tools especially CRM tool SFDC,
  • Actively participate in developing Junior Business Development Executives
 
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
  • At least 10 years’ experience in IT Architecture and Virtual Design.
  • Demonstrable leadership skills within a global matrix organization.
  • Ability to lead global, multicultural teams.
  • Excellent budget management skills.
  • Excellent communication and change management skills.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
