Job Title: Financial Analyst
Department: Finance
Reports To: Finance Manager
Direct Reports: N/A
FLSA Classification: Exempt
Location: Remote
Hours: 8 AM EST – 5:30 PM EST & Friday is 8 AM EST – 5 PM EST.
SUMMARY: The Financial Analyst will be part of the Global FP&A team to help turn data into information to drive growth and profitability. The role will focus on financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting of the Commercial business along with trend and variance analysis. This position will build relationships across the company to improve data models and business insights.
This is a permanent internal full-time position with Dexian
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Assist with Actual vs Budget/Forecast analytics and Actual vs Historical analytics for the Commercial Sales organization (Revenue, Gross Profit, Margin %, Operating Expenses).
· Support the Budget and Forecast processes ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
· Present and explain monthly financial performance and key variances and trends.
· Ongoing monitoring and analysis of critical metrics and business trends to inform risk and opportunities to current budget/forecast or the business overall.
· Prepare and consolidate slide decks for various presentations and team reviews.
· Enhance forecast/budget processes to improve accuracy & timelines using automation & new BI tools.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· 2+ years FP&A/Financial Analyst experience.
· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
· Strong financial acumen and business judgment.
· Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities.
· Budgeting and Forecasting experience.
· Effective communication and presentation skills in a highly remote environment.
· Experience with Planning software (Oracle Cloud Planning/Hyperion Essbase, OneStream, Workday. Adaptive, Anaplan, etc) and data visualization software (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)

· A positive individual with a passion to tell the story behind the numbers and is committed to making the team and Finance Business Partners successful.
· Experience providing high-quality analytics for financial and strategic planning including budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling.
· An evolving and flexible problem solver who is ok with ambiguity and demonstrates strong attention to detail.
· Highly organized and detail-oriented individual with the ability to multitask.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a natural good listener.
· Planning software experience (Oracle Cloud Planning/Hyperion Essbase, OneStream, Workday Adaptive, Anaplan, etc.)
· Data visualization software user experience (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
· Fluency with Excel formulas and PowerPoint functions.
